Roof Repairs
Fast, reliable repairs for leaks, slipped tiles, storm damage and everything in between.

Overview
A missing tile or a small leak rarely stays small. Water finds the path of least resistance, which usually means it travels along a rafter or down a wall cavity for months before it ever shows up as a stain on your ceiling — by which point it's often caused more damage than the original fault ever would have. Our approach starts with actually finding where the water is getting in, not just patching wherever the damp patch happens to appear indoors.
That might mean re-bedding ridge tiles that have worked loose, rebuilding flashing around a chimney or in a valley where it's cracked or perished, replacing individual slipped or cracked tiles, or tracing a leak back through the loft to a joint that's failed. Whatever the cause, we explain what we found, what we're doing about it, and why — before any work starts, not after.
We also carry out storm damage assessments, usually within days of a call, so if a claim needs to go to your insurer you've got dated photos and a clear written scope to back it up.

Signs it might be time
A few things that often mean it's worth thinking about roof repairs — before a small issue becomes a much bigger one.
Damp or discoloured patches spreading across a ceiling
Missing, cracked or visibly slipped tiles, especially after high winds
Daylight showing through the roof timbers when you're up in the loft
A build-up of moss or algae holding moisture against the tiles
Gutters overflowing at one point and staining the wall below it
A musty smell in an upstairs room that wasn't there before
What happens, step by step
No mystery about what happens next, who's coming, or what it costs before anyone starts work.
- 01
Get in touch
Call or use the contact form and tell us what you've noticed — even "there's a damp patch and I don't know why" is enough for us to start.
- 02
Inspection & diagnosis
We get up on the roof (and into the loft, where relevant) to trace the actual source of the problem rather than guessing from ground level.
- 03
Quote before any work
You'll know what needs doing and what it costs before we touch anything — repairs don't turn into surprise bills once we're already up there.
- 04
Repair carried out
Most repairs are completed the same visit. Anything requiring materials to be ordered in is scheduled for the next available slot, usually within the week.
- 05
Follow-up check
For leak repairs especially, we're happy to check back after the next heavy rain to confirm the fix has held, at no extra cost.
Roof Repairs — frequently asked questions
The questions we're asked most about this specific service. Anything else, just call us.
Is a repair always cheaper than a full replacement?
Usually, yes — if the damage is localised and the rest of the roof is in reasonable condition. But if you're already on your third or fourth repair in as many years, we'll tell you honestly when a new roof will actually work out cheaper over time.
Do you offer emergency callouts for active leaks?
Yes — if water is actively coming in, tell us that when you get in touch and we'll prioritise getting to you quickly rather than working through the standard booking queue.
Can you help with an insurance claim for storm damage?
Yes. We document the damage with dated photographs and provide a written scope of works that you can submit directly to your insurer.
How quickly can you actually get to a repair?
It depends on the time of year and how many storm callouts are in the queue, but we aim to get back to every enquiry the same day and get someone out within a few days for anything non-urgent — sooner for anything active.
Will you tell me if it's not worth repairing?
Yes, always. If the roof has failed to the point where a repair genuinely won't hold, we'd rather say so up front than take a fee for a fix that won't last.
